Hillside (Lyndhurst, NJ)

Established in 1882, Hillside Cemetery exists within the shadows of New York City and was built, like many cemeteries of its day, in the rural ideal, defined by lush trees and beautiful landscapes.

Hillside Cemetery is still active today, and also consists of New Mount Zion Cemetery, a Jewish cemetery which receives a significant amount of visitors every year, thanks to a certain legendary New Yorker who is buried within its confines.

Address: 742 Rutherford Avenue Lyndhurst, New Jersey
